What are the FeedbackFruits tools - Staff Guide

The FeedbackFruits assessment suite comprises of seven tools that can be used to facilitate formative assessment.

The FeedbackFruits feedback tools allow for a streamlined process of giving feedback to peers and students. The tools can be divided into two categories: Feedback on deliverables, and feedback on student skills.

Peer Review

The Peer Review tool enables instructors to create assignments for students to provide feedback to their peers on deliverables such as documents, videos and audio files based on predefined criteria.

Group Member Evaluation

The Group Member Evaluation tool streamlines how students assess their peers’ collaboration skills. The instructor specifies the criteria students use to evaluate their peer's contribution to group work. You can personalise grades based on an individual's contribution to group work.

Skill Review

The Skill Review tool facilitates teacher feedback on activities such as presentations, oral exams or an interview. Students are not required to make a submission.

Assignment Review

The Assignment Review tool aims to improve student learning by allowing instructors to provide in-line feedback on deliverables. Instructors can specify the criteria and feedback format.

Automated Feedback

The Automated Feedback tool, created by artificial intelligence, provides tips on reports to enhance the quality of the student's work and relieve the workload of instructors.

Self-Assessment of Skills

The Self-Assessment of Skills tool allows students to review themselves based on predefined skills criteria, providing scores and feedback.

Self-Assessment of Work

The Self-Assessment of Work tool allows students to review themselves based on predefined criteria, providing scores and feedback on deliverables such as documents, videos and audio files.
