Using nbgrader for Managing Assignments in Noteable
You can create notebook assignments in Noteable with the use of nbgrader. In the tool you can access the formgrader interface, which allows to collect submissions and release with grades and feedback.
Please note that nbgrader supports Jupyter notebooks and does not work in RStudio due to metadata it relies on. Instructors can use the R with Stan notebook in Noteable to run R code and access nbgrader.
What can nbgrader do for managing assignments
- Release assignments to students. Using the interface you can collect submissions and release them back with grades and feedback.
- Manually review submissions and provide grades and feedback back to your students.
- Use auto-grading based on students' input. This is useful for large cohorts, saving time on grading code-based activities.
