How to Edit Panopto Recordings - Staff Guide

How to Edit Panopto Recordings

This guide applies to personal, ad-hoc Panopto recordings and automatic lecture capture recordings.

In the case of lecture capture, where sessions have been timetabled, and the option of automated recording selected, recordings will be automatically initiated and stopped at the beginning and end of your timetabled activity. Recordings are then saved and uploaded directly to your Minerva module folder. If needed, you should make changes to your recording up to 2 working days after the teaching activity has taken place. After 2 working days, the recording will be available to students.

To edit a video:

  1. In your Minerva module page, open the Panopto (lecture capture) folder

2. The Panopto folder will load and show a list of recorded videos for your module.
