Request to whitelist a system for China Connect - Staff Guide

Sometimes the performance of University of Leeds teaching and learning systems is not good enough when accessed from China, and we hope that China Connect can help with this.  China Connect is a tool from the University of Leeds that staff and students based in China can run on their device (laptop, phone, tablet) that will boost the connection to important University of Leeds systems, including Minerva, Mediasite, Teams and University of Leeds websites. China Connect must not be used for research activities.

If you have identified a system that is needed for Learning and Teaching activities and is currently inaccessible or suffers from slow performance by staff/students based in China, staff can make a request for it to be added to the whitelist by completing the request form available on the Leeds IT Self Service website.

This form can only be completed by members of staff. You will need to be logged into the Leeds IT Service Desk website (it.leeds.ac.uk) using your University single sign-on credentials to be able to view and submit this form.
