Why has a student triggered a Low Digital Activity Notification when they appear to have been Inactive? - SES Guide
On rare occasions, a student may trigger a Low Digital Activity Notification despite their Engagement Rating appearing as Inactive (0) on their Current Engagement tab.
This is due to the way StREAM@Leeds has been calibrated - certain activities, such as logging into Minerva, has not been included in the algorithm used for calculating engagement. If a student accesses digital resources not included, they means they have not met the criteria for a No Digital Activity Engagement Notification, but they will appear as Inactive on their Learning Journey Map.
It is therefore important in these instances to refer to the review the Resources tab on the Student's dashboard to check which digital resources the student has engaged with.
