If you're interested in developing your digital experience and skills, the Jisc Discovery Tool can help provide a detailed picture of your current digital skills – then access personalised guidance and resources on the digital capabilities that are most important for you.

The Jisc Discovery Tool is based upon the six elements of the Jisc digital capabilities framework (PDF will open in browser) and helps you to assess and record your digital capabilities. It guides you a set of questions that relate to your digital skills, understanding and confidence and covers different aspects of your digital experience for study and personal development.

You will receive a personal report that provides a clear overview of your existing strengths and potential developmental needs, along with a resource bank of advice and activities to draw upon, including specially curated resources by Skills@Library. This includes topics such as how to reduce your digital carbon footprint, manage your personal workload or solve digital problems.
