We are investigating an issue with the University Lecture Capture system which may result in the recording of screens not intended for use.
The October update introduces a new option to have email notifications for followed Discussions. There are also updates to how leavers show in the Gradebook and AI options for Question Banks. Recently, a change to how module staff appear on the module content page has been made. A known issue with the Gradebook Overview is also resolved.
Padlet will be undergoing maintenance on Saturday 5 October between 2.00am – 5.00am GMT and will not be available during this time.
On Friday 27 September EDINA reported that Noteable is experiencing a service issue.
Top Hat will be discontinued on Tuesday 1 October 2024, meaning the last day you can access this platform is Monday 30 September.
FeedbackFruits, a digital tool designed for formative assessment, is now available for use throughout the University.
As previously shared in February 2024, following a review of our current online assessment systems, Top Hat is no longer available for staff or students to use.
The China Connect information service will be discontinued from 30 August 2024.

From 26 June, staff and students will be required to use Single Sign On to access internal GitHub repositories and organisations.
There is a known issue where the “Save settings for future use” checkbox within optional assignment settings may not work as intended.
Module areas in Minerva for 2024/25 are expected to be available by w/c 10th of June.
