Changes to where Teams meeting recordings are stored has been deferred

The change to where Team meeting recordings are stored (which was due to happen on Monday 2 August) is being deferred.

Microsoft is allowing us to defer the change to where Teams meetings recordings are stored. Currently the Team meeting recordings are stored in Microsoft Steam (now known as Stream Classic), and some features, including the ability to edit recording transcripts, are available here, but would not available if we moved to storing them in OneDrive and Sharepoint, which will be known as Stream for SharePoint.

We will therefore delay the change to where Team meetings are stored until 2022 when these features will be available. Team meetings recordings will continue to be stored in Stream until then. Find out more about the change and why it has been deferred.
