FeedbackFruits for summative assessments

We are piloting FeedbackFruits for summative use cases during the 2024/25 academic year. This is an open pilot in which anyone using FeedbackFruits for summative assessment can participate, and we’ll evaluate the tool’s use for this type of assessment and make recommendations supported use at the end of the academic year.

FeedbackFruits is not suitable for summative written based submissions as it doesn't support anonymous marking or Turnitin similarity reports.

Exclusive features of the tool also include:

  • Collaboration: it allows users to work as a group, fostering collective participation in assessments
  • Group Review: It permits the review of individuals or specific members within a group, enhancing flexibility in evaluation
  • Reviewer Selection: users can choose the number of reviewers, with the option to select only a subset rather than all members
  • Manual Allocation: It provides the ability to override or manually assign feedback allocations, offering control over the distribution process
  • Peers can review each other's work with anonymous id, if desired
  • Rating Feedback: it enables the rating of feedback, providing an additional layer of evaluation.
