On Thursday 16 May, the University will be marking Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) by focusing on ways in which we can enhance the digital experience of all staff and students.
Digital Education Network, Thursday 16 May, 10.00am – 12noon (online)
The Digital Education Network meeting on Thursday 16 May will be focused on accessibility and will be packed with insightful presentations and lively discussions from both staff and students across the institution, including:
- Harriet Cannon, Disability Advisory Team Manager, Disability Services
- Jenny Brady, Inclusive Learning and Teaching Manager
- Richard Cartey, IT Compliance
- A staff/student panel discussing their thoughts on accessibility.
Course Accessibility Service
We’ll also be launching the Course Accessibility Service, which is aimed at supporting teaching staff to ensure their modules are digitally accessible.
