Top Hat Discontinued from September 2024

Following a review of our current online assessment systems, a decision has been made to discontinue our use of Top Hat. This means that you won’t be able to host assessments, active learning, or polls on this platform from September 2024.

How will this affect me?

We’ll work with both current and previous Top Hat users over the next few months to discuss the use of alternative platforms on which you can host your content. We’ll also provide support in moving your content from Top Hat to the alternative platform.

What do I need to do?

If you are a current or previous Top Hat user, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll get in touch with you directly via email by Friday 22 March 2024 to discuss your current situation and what support you might require.
