Turnitin: Changes to default Class expiry date

Turnitin have updated the default class end date

Creating the first Turnitin assignment within a Minerva module creates a ‘class’ for that module in Turnitin. The default end date when creating a new class has now been amended to twelve months (365 days).

The system default end date was previously six months, which resulted in classes expiring sooner than desired. (Note: when a Turnitin class expires it is still available and visible as read-only. You can contact the IT Service desk if you need to edit the class).

Turnitin is the University’s plagiarism detection and marking tool.
