What's the difference between a PebblePad Asset and a Resource? - Student Guide

A Resource is a blank form (or collection of forms and pages) for you to fill in.

An Asset is a file you have uploaded into PebblePad, or a Resource or standard template (e.g. Blog, Portfolio) you have filled in with your own content.

Assets

An Asset is anything that contains information you have entered or upload into PebblePad. Assets are saved in an area called the Asset Store, You can create different types of Assets in PebblePad (e.g. images, blogs, time logs, evidence). These can be kept private for personal reflection or you can choose how to share them with others.

Resources

Resources are empty templates or workbooks with defined spaces for you to add information. When you enter your information into a resource it becomes an asset in your asset store, ready for you to share.

Further Help and Support

There are several ways to access help and support from within PebblePad once you are logged in. The Learning Centre is a good place to start, it contains short how-to videos, a useful glossary and tip sheets.

You can also open the Burger Menu to find the Help and support section; this contains in-depth help guides covering a wide range of topics.

Support is also available via the Leeds IT website. Please remember to log in as this will give you additional support options.
