Vevox Quick Polls

Quick polls (also referred to as adhoc polls) allow you to launch a poll instantly while presenting, without creating it in advance in your dashboard.

Available Quick Poll Types

When launching a quick poll, you can choose from the following types:

• Agree vs Disagree
• Yes / No / Don’t know
• Generic 4-choice question
• Star rating
• Word cloud
• Text response
• Numeric response

The question title will automatically display “Please vote” followed by the selected answer options. You can edit the wording of a quick poll after responses have been collected to better reflect the question asked if needed.

How to use Quick Polls

You can create quick polls in present view. To do this create and open your session. From here enter present mode by selecting the present full screen button, or the open present view in a new tab button.

Once you are in present view you have two options. If you have no pre created questions in your session or if you already have questions in your session. Follow the below instructions depending on your workflow.

You have no pre created questions in your session

Once you are in present view you will see an action button, that has a lightning bolt on it, in the position that the start button for polls normally is. You can select this button and you will be given the choices of quick polls available. Once you have selected a quick poll it will automatically open with the title 'Please vote'

You already have questions in your session

Once you are in present view, either before you launch your questions or in between your questions hover over the question title in the navigation bar and choose the action button named 'create quick poll' at the bottom of the list. Once you have selected a quick poll it will automatically open with the title 'Please vote'.
