AI Conversations - Student Guide
AI Conversation is a tool in Minerva for exploring a scenario with an AI (artificial intelligence) persona. It will have this icon next to it in Minerva:
Staff may add an AI Conversation activity to your module. After the activity with the AI persona, there will also be a reflection question. The conversation with the AI Persona is preserved for you to review and reflect on. Module staff can also review your conversation/answer to the reflection question and may give feedback which you will be able to access via the Minerva Gradebook.
When interacting with the AI Persona, be aware that AI can have bias or be inaccurate. If you identify any bias or inaccuracies in your interaction with the AI persona, you can include this in your reflection on the conversation/highlight to module staff. If you see something which concerns you, please log a ticket via the IT Service Desk.
Our supplier of this AI tool confirms your data is not used for (re)training the large language model. For more information about our supplier's (Anthology) approach to AI, visit their Trust Center.
