How will this affect me?
Users are experiencing limited functionality within Mediasite, including missing features and issues around permissions.
What are we doing about it?
IT have escalated the issue with the vendor and are investigating as a matter of priority. The vendor is based in the US and there will therefore be a slight delay in response, due to differing time zones. If you are being affected by this issue, please let IT know via the IT Service Status page.
What help can I access during this period?
IT will work with the vendor to understand the current issues, and updates will be provided in due course. For general online help and support can be accessed at the IT Knowledge Base, and systems support and user guides at the Digital Education Systems Help website.
How can I keep up to date?
You can check the Service Status page on the IT website for updates to this issue. The Digital Education Systems Team will notify users when service is resumed through its Twitter feed @DESystemsUoL, and through the usual communication channels.
