StREAM@Leeds service disruption
Some Academic Personal Tutors may be unable to login to StREAM@Leeds. They may notice the screen flashing when they attempt to do so.
There may be times when users experience an unexpected service disruption, this usually affects some (rather than all) of the functionality of a system. When we become aware of disruptions to service, one of the ways we communicate this is through Service Disruption news posts on this site. When this is resolved, we will follow-up with a new post to let you know.

Following on from the service disruption first reported on Monday, 2nd of October, scheduled lecture recordings should now automatically start as expected.
The issue with Inaccuracies with automatically created Minerva Groups in School and Faculty organisations has now been resolved.
We have been notified that some scheduled lecture capture recordings are not automatically starting as expected. Record Now is unaffected.
We have become aware of inaccuracies in the membership of student groups (specifically made for communications) within School and Faculty organisations. Whilst these are investigated we advise that staff should not use these groups.
In Minerva, Progress Tracking is not working for Web Link content.
The Digital Education Systems Team have been informed that there was an unexpected service degradation on Friday 23rd June.
We are investigating an intermittent issue where the Turnitin interface is freezing, and grades and comments entered are not being retained.
Our supplier has advised that the issue with downloading digital submission receipts using the Safari web browser has been resolved.
We have received reports that some students are experiencing difficulties when opening Gradescope assignments.

There is an intermittent issue, which is affecting some users, where a grade entered in the Turnitin Feedback Studio is not being posted to the module Gradebook in Minerva.

When using the arrows to move back and forth between group assignment submissions from the Gradebook, the submission file does not update, making it seem that the groups all submitted the same file.

Staff are currently unable to create new Minerva Class Teams via Minerva modules and organisations. Direct links to Minerva Class Teams are also not displaying in Minerva at present.
There appears to be an issue with the page trying to resize inbox columns when it is above a certain pixel size. Colleagues may see the inbox window rapidly flickering and will be unable to unable open any of the submissions.
Mediasite is experiencing performance issues including missing functionality and permissions issues.
There is a known issue affecting the roster sync of students between Minerva modules and the Turnitin assignment inbox. The unexpected service issue affecting Turnitin has now been resolved.

To resolve an issue where data feeds did not run on the 24 June, the vendor will be carrying out maintenance.
The issue reported on 24/05/2022, which affected the ability to disable/enable the Top Hat gradebook has now been resolved. If you are still experiencing any issues, contact the IT Help Desk.
In an attempt to resolve the recent issues with Minerva, our vendor will apply a fix overnight. The fix will be applied on Wednesday 25 May 02:00-05:00 BST.
It is currently not possible to disable/enable the Top Hat Gradebook from the Top Hat course settings panel. Checking or unchecking the box and pressing Save does not result in your change being saved.
