UKVI Student Visa Requirements

Hybrid (multimode) teaching is classed as remote delivery for UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) purposes because students have the option to participate online. The University must ensure that students studying on a Student visa do not exceed 20% of timetabled teaching delivered remotely.

Before introducing or increasing the use of hybrid delivery, staff should review the University's guidance on remote delivery for students on a Student visa and consider the potential impact on the proportion of teaching delivered remotely.
