Find and open a Microsoft Class Team

You can find and open a Microsoft Class Team in two ways:

In Minerva

From within Minerva, go to the relevant module/organisation and select the Open Microsoft Education link from the Details & Actions area.

If you are unable to see the link, first try exiting and re-entering the module/organisation, or using a different browser (note that Safari commonly experiences this issue). The link should then appear. If you still can’t see it, check that your browser is not in incognito mode, as the link will not display in this mode.

Alternatively, try using a browser within the Virtual Desktop to log in to Minerva.  (Click on the following link to access the web version of the Virtual Desktop.)

Via your Microsoft Teams app

  1. Open your  Microsoft Teams application (if you have this installed on your device).
  2. Click the Teams tab which is found on the left hand side.
  3. Find and select the relevant Minerva Class Team from your list of Teams below the Classes heading.

Troubleshooting

If you do not see the team you want to access listed in your list of teams, or do not see the Open Microsoft  Education link in Minerva, a Minerva Class Team/Class Team for your module/organisation may not have been created.

If you are a student, you should contact your tutor to check if there should be a team available.
