Service Disruption: Scheduled lecture capture recordings not starting as expected

We have been notified that some scheduled lecture capture recordings are not automatically starting as expected. Record Now functionality remains unaffected.

How will this affect me?

If you are teaching on campus and have requested that your teaching be recorded, the recording may not start automatically. Whilst this is being investigated, if your recording does not start automatically you are advised to use the Record Now facilities in the room as this is unaffected.

What are we doing about it?

IT have escalated the issue with the vendor and are investigating as a matter of priority. Industrial action may cause some delay in a resolution.

How can I keep up to date?

An update will be posted on this site when we have any further news, or become aware that the issue has been resolved. You can also check the Lectue Capture Service Status page on the IT website for updates to this issue.
