Minerva - follow-up on issues reported 17 May

Minerva is continuing to experience performance issues. The Activity Stream is not loading and emails from announcements are also not being sent/received. Staff may also experience issues copying content between or within modules and organisations.

These performance issues have impacted on data feeds, and no user accounts or enrolment for modules and organisations have been added or updated since the 16 May.

If you need to send emails to students via Minerva

Please use the Email Tool rather than Announcements until this issue is resolved. This has been tested and is working. Please read our guide on the email tool for further information.

What are we doing about it?

We have been continuing to work with our vendor who has been investigating these issues as a matter of urgency. In an attempt to resolve these issues, our vendor will apply a fix overnight. The fix will be applied on Saturday 21 May 02:00-05:00 BST.

During this period, users may notice short interruptions to the service and Minerva may be slower than usual. Therefore we strongly recommend that assessments are not submitted during this time period.
