Turnitin known issue – Inbox sync error message 26/9/22

There is a known issue affecting the roster sync of students between Minerva modules and the Turnitin assignment inbox. Staff may see the following error message when attempting to open the assignment inbox.

“The membership service encountered some errors. Click here for details
Error fetching memberships URL”

The issue may affect assignment in modules where student data is still to carry across for assignments with start dates in the future, as well as assignments in courses that are not yet available. Once an assignment start date is reached or a course is made available, the roster should automatically sync as intended. The vendor is currently investigating this.
