Turnitin Student Notifications Issue

Students who have amended their Minerva Activity Stream ‘New Grades and Feedback’ notifications to ‘Straight Away’ are receiving emails stating that they have a ‘Mark Cleared’ in their module, when submitting a new assignment to Turnitin.

As this occurs at the time of submission, no marks will have been entered. We have not found any cases of any marks or submissions being lost at this time, with the issue appearing to be limited to an incorrect notification. As a precaution, we would recommend any students concerned by the message check their Turnitin submission area to confirm their successful submission.

This issue is currently under investigation with Turnitin. We will provide an update once the issue is resolved.
