A software update is due to take place on Mediasite, the University's Lecture Capture and Media Management System. This includes several performance improvements and new features.

When is it happening?

From midnight to 4.00am on Saturday 29 July.

How will it affect me?

Mediasite expect little impact on users, but the service could be unavailable during this time. Content uploads are not advised during this period as they may take longer than usual to process.

Where can I get help?

If you are experiencing technical issues after the maintenance period, log in to the IT website and search: Open an IT ticket. This will take you to a form where you can create a new IT ticket and record the details of your issue.
