Our vendor has been working on Minerva to improve performance issues relating to the Activity Stream, copying of modules and emails from announcements. At present, these elements of Minerva are working but further work by our vendor is needed to ensure issues do not occur again.
These performance issues have also impacted on data feeds, and no user accounts or enrolments for modules and organisations have been added or updated since 21 May.
What are we doing about it?
We have been continuing to work with our vendor who has been investigating these issues as a matter of urgency. In an attempt to resolve these issues permanently, our vendor will apply a fix overnight. The fix will be applied on Wednesday 25 May 02:00-05:00 BST.
During this period, users may notice short interruptions to the service and Minerva may be slower than usual. Therefore we strongly recommend that assessments are not submitted during this time period.
