Ongoing Issue: Gradescope Assignments

Service Disruption

We have received reports that some students are experiencing difficulties when opening Gradescope assignments. When they click the link they will see a screen with the message "almost there...we're launching the selected LTI Tool" but the assignment will fail to load.

What is the issue?
The issue is affecting cookies which allow the computer to remember the right account when moving from Minerva to Gradescope. This particularly affects those using Safari browsers.

What can I do to resolve this?

Changing to a different browser or changing the cookie settings should resolve the issue. You can find further information in our guide to enabling third party cookies and our general guide on Gradescope troubleshooting.

If you are experiencing further technical issues, log in to the IT website and search: Open an IT ticket. This will take you to a form where you can create a new IT ticket and record the details of your issue.
