CampusPress Guides for Staff

CampusPress is a tool for creating blogs and websites for teaching and learning purposes. Powered by WordPress, staff and students can create and manage their own blogs, using a range of accessible themes. It can also be used for assessment purposes by creating a class blog, in which the instructor has oversight of their student’s work.

It is available to all staff and students by going to campuspress.leeds.ac.uk and logging in using your University username and password.

You can choose to use your blog for various functions including:

  • Tracking CPD activities
  • Creating an open educational resource
  • Private journal

If you'd like to use a class blog as part of a teaching activity or assessment, please contact the Systems team via the IT Service Desk to discuss your use case.

If you would like use a blog to promote your research to external audiences please contact your Faculty Communications Manager in the first instance. You can find out more about research websites or about other websites for non teaching and learning purposes on the Communications and Engagement website.
