Add a Gradebook Calculation - Staff Guide

Gradebook in Ultra Course View allows you to add a Calculation item. A Calculation item is created by use of formulas to produce a numerical result based on other graded items in your module.

When Calculation items are added they are hidden from students by default. Students won't see the calculation until it has a grade and you make the item visible to them.

SES recommend that calculations should not be used to return components of the final module grade to students as this may result in confusion (all grades in Minerva are provisional).
